I was sick and now I'm better still sick. 'Sup. Fixed.

I was sick from Monday night of last week to... now. Woo. \o/

So, this weekend, instead of doing homework, I drew a lot and played lots of AoM. It was goddamn magical. This girl [->] appeared in my Photoshop from a combination of too much Monster, food deprivation, and the sniffles.

My enthusiasm for school-work this week corresponds inversely with my liking for water in order to continue living. So I draw and listen to happy things, hum merrily, drink caffeine, ignore that ammonia odor in the background. (I'm at the library--what the hell is that?!) I also ogle dA. So many wonderful and intricate things everywhere there [if you look in the right places].

I'm thinking of doing another ADIML post for tomorrow--the events within might prove to make an interesting day, maybe not. ふふふ。

Also, Windows 7 is cool. M'just sayin'. ♥

'm sick, but I want to draw. Clearing out messages on dA just does that.

I changed some of my latest entries to public. I feel more comfortable with all friends-only, but I think this might result in less friends. (*・_・)ノ⌒*

I've decided to start my own "become a better artist project" with the following. I am going to do a body part challenge that I am also going to make up.

- Following that, post my lang-8 journal entry two tomorrow.
- Draw one full-sized picture of a girl today or tomorrow.
- Do base color for one drawing tomorrow.
- Get lots of sleep. (Wishful thinking...) ( ﾟ▽ﾟ)

I asked the professor of my French class if using lang-8 for a month would count for the final project. He said sure. Woo. ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ So, I'll probably start that in November along with my NaNoWriMo-inspired project of drawing a picture a day... Maybe I'll even combine the two... （￣へ￣）

Hrm... face the fierce storm or... stay in the nice V building with the computer lab, home brought food, and internet access...?

Seriously, this morning was clear as could be, so I decided to leave my umbrella in the car. I was alerted to the rain when working in the computer lab by the massive noise it made against the windows. If my camera could actually capture the epic-ness of this rain, I would post a picture. The campus is flooding. （；_・）

I'm not sure how I'm going to make myself walk across campus to get to Psychology class, but I have a couple hours to sort it out.

Spent all of yesterday drawing when I was planning to do homework and... sleep. So, I expected today to be a rush filled day full of chaos and woe.

It's not.

I finished a test in twenty minutes instead of an hour and twenty [+Got 100% -- Hells yeah]. I finished my write up for lab in fifteen since it was short. A computer science lab I thought was due this week is due next week and the one that is due this week won't open and is entirely unexplained, so I can't do it.

Now I have a scarce amount of things left to do and... five hours in which I'm at school without a laptop.

And I want to draw. (;_;)
And my awesome pen ran out of ink, but I'll live... and refill it when I get home.

Oh well, lunch time.

This is probably the best thing I have ever drawn digitally. Ever. And it is a sketch with the proportions slightly off--but, still!

Which, figures, as I make a lot of use of pressure and line lightness in my live drawings, so why wouldn't it need to work like that digitally to look good and how did I never figure that out? Haha... (ーー;)

Walked a mile to work today. Oh mai. *flails*

Ended up purchasing Rosemary and Rue pre-order on Amazon. I haven't been a big reader lately and honestly when I do read it's fanfiction or Terry Pratchett, but I've been watching the author (this is her first book) on livejournal for who knows how long and I've always really respected her posts as being witty and exceptionally well-written. So, I have bought this book partly out of support and partly out of the fact that I know it will be very well-written. As for the content, I have an idea of what it is going to be like, so I shall have to wait until I read it to know how much I like that aspect of it. ( ・ω・)

... that I interpreted, "A fight over books depicting sex and homosexuality..." as: people fighting over such books due to limited supply (like women fighting over shoes and clothing), rather than people fighting over whether they should exist or not?

Been preparing for the upcoming fall semester. It's too close! Summer session just ended. *flail* However, I will get to learn French... and computing, so those are both really exciting. Everything else is like Psychology, Biology, Aerobics--not as exciting. Will probably end up going to Cabrillo community college instead of directly to Santa Cruz. The program I want to get into has very specific requirements which I do not qualify for as of yet. >>;

Was on notalwaysright.com (or, The Customer is Not Always Right: accounts of rather strange encounters with consumers) this morning and noticed their visitors chart. It has a lot of hits from pretty much everywhere except Africa (expected) and... Russia (not expected)... Is Russia not all that  computer populated or is this site banned / not a popular type of thing there? China has more hits. O.o

Also, if I could stop sleeping until noon I would be quite happy. M'just sayin'...

I officially have financial aid. I bought a new techno toy yesterday. http://mondays.pwop.com/ came out with a new episode. And today is the last day of Summer classes.

(And yet... for how little K touches my laptop, he still covers it with grime! D:)

Got an A on my anthropology test. An essay and one more test and I'm free!

Currently K has me held hostage at the school while he torrents some things. And stuff. Darn him and his magical, "you don't leave if I don't leave" driving powers... and, um, thank him for all the driving he does for me. Aheheh... 8D

[Edit: Also, Silent Hill 3 is really hard--even on EASY! It starts off with a bang, unlike SH2, which was fairly normal in the beginning. K died yesterday in it because he was surrounded... so, now we are downloading walk-throughs so that we can have the fear of having played without playing... We're lame. xD]
